Behold the blackmail that comes with partying with co-workers.   D-runk karaoke is where it’s at!  This night was so much fun.  We ended up singing retro 80’s and 90’s songs in the car on the way home.  All I have to say is, UUUhhhh, push it!

Deep voiced men have more kids because they aren’t pussies and get laid more….mystery solved.  I’m a freakin genius.

So I don’t admit this often but I am a World of Warcraft addict.  I have been playing for over 2 years. /wrists (if you play you understand that…if not…/loser).

I ran across this story today about buying accounts and it almost made my in game blood elf hunter pee her little pants.  It’s really making me question how much I could get for my account.  Things that make a girl go hmmmmmm.

Check it out, its rediculous!  http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7007026.stm

As I know there were many of you out there who went at the stroke of midnight to get your reserved copy of Halo 3…I want some recommendations of the game before I go spend my hard earned money on it.  The graphics look amazing but I’ve heard it was awesome but a bit confusing.  Once you slackers who stayed up all night actually wake up….let’s hear what you thought!

Over the weekend I went to the Renaissance festival with some friends old and new.  I haven’t been in so long and it’s amazing how much it hasn’t changed.   It was good to know that there are still people in the world who like to dress up and play ‘is that a real guillotine’ LOL.

I had fun and I’ll post a couple pics of the fair.  Its an interesting day trip if nothing else.

So today at work is WEAR YOUR HAWAIIAN SHIRT DAY.  Not really…actually its ‘Red Friday’ round these parts.  For anyone not from the only town who gives a crap about ‘Red Friday’…its referring to wearing Red to support the local football team the Chiefs.

I am not a football fan…I grew up in Kansas City and have been disappointed enough by the Chiefs to continue to be disillusioned by them as an adult.  I just really don’t get into football.  Its too….pompous American for me.  And don’t give me the sob story about how I don’t like it cuz I’m a girl since two of my favorite sports are UFC and hockey.

But I digress, so back today at work…we received a company wide e-mail that we can participate in ‘Red Friday’ by wearing jeans and a red shirt or team jersey. (which I think is ridiculous that we only do this for the football team and no other sport but that’s another blog).  So being the rogue employee and non-football fan that I am…i wore a skirt and a white shirt and jacket with no red instead.

However, when I came into work this morning…my lovely female aisle mate gives me the serious eye up and down and then proceeds to say ‘Paige, where’s your red?’  As if going to work isn’t bad enough, now I’m being harassed by over 50 year old women who think Football is soccer and who only wore red to ass kiss her boss??  I’m going back to bed.

Well I’m glad you men finally found a scientific reason to play with yourselves.   How does one exactly come up with the idea to use their testicles as research?  Was he just sitting on his couch one night bored and thought ‘I could do something with these things between my fingers’.

Personally my favorite line is…”some doubt has been expressed on the willingness of men to undergo the procedure to extract the cells”.  Man up men…you wanna save the world, here’s your chance!

Finally!  The secret of my existence has been revealed!

I have always wanted to be a couple inches taller….5′8 - 5′10 range to be exact.  Longer legs, longer back…how could that be bad right? (Except for the bigger feet part LOL).  But now, thanks to the geniuses in Britain…I finally have someone to blame for my shortcomings…my older brother.

I blame you for not letting me build couch pillow forts with you as a kid, I blame you for antagonizing me by ‘not touching me’ while riding in the backseat of our family station wagon, I blame you for not letting me play with your Star Wars Millennium Falcon ship more….and now, I blame you for damaging my birthplace with your personal development!  How dare you sir I say LOL.

This is an interesting and fun article:

I am a HUGE animal lover.  We are talking huge as in…I like animals more than people, including babies…and always have.  I always have been.  I grew up with dogs, always had a dog, always wanted a dog, find myself saving stray dogs on the side of the road, you get the point.

Today, however, I went in search of a cat.  Our local pet shelter came to my place of work so I spent my entire 2 hour lunch break playing with little furry things!  It was like heaven.  Unless they were physically attacking you, how anyone could be mean to an animal is beyond me.  I believe in SEVERE punishment for animal abuse btw and I think all pets should be fixed.

I’ve been thinking about getting a cat for a little while to have somebody in the apartment with me…I just don’t wanna turn into that crazy woman with 3 cats…and since I’ve already got the crazy part down I’m in trouble!

Look at the cuties I saw today!

I hope if you are in the pet market you get one from a local shelter.  If you live close to me, here is the link to ours.  I met most of them today and they are all adorable!  I wish I could save them all.

Over the weekend I watched the UFC Championship fight between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Dan “Hollywood” Henderson.  If you missed it…go cry yourself to sleep tonight.  It was an amazing event but fought a little down and dirty by Rampage.  I think he’s a good fighter but when he walked into the arena wearing a chain, all I could picture was Hulk Hogan and WWF Smackdown.  Come on Rampage, you’re the new UFC Champion, have a little dignity.  Oh and sorry Mr. Jackson…I am for real :)~

For those of you who missed this story…its a doosie!  I first heard about it on the radio news yesterday and soon realize that this plane at one point flew DIRECTLY OVER MY HOUSE. Now normally when the Airforce flies over my house I don’t care and even feel safe….but not when its carrying NUCLEAR BOMBS!  Good job proud Americans.  Sometimes you don’t get room for mistakes like this.

So I’m in the process of planning a ski trip in late January to either somewhere in Colorado or to the Chillan Lake District in Peru.  Honestly I can fly to either place for the same amount of money so I’m at a quandary as to where to go.  If you have any suggestions of places you have stayed or been to in either place let me know!

I’ve been to Colorado quite a bit and skied in Breckenridge and Keystone.  I’m not too interested in Vale…its too touristy for my taste.  I’ve heard Durango and Telluride are nice…anyone been?

I’m off to plan more adventures…honestly, isn’t that what life is all about?

It’s a new month, a new day, and a new design.  Since I thrive on my world changing I figured I might as well start with my online world.  I might not even change the header picture since it is of the ocean LOL.

I had an amazing Labor Day weekend.  I watched some movies, went to a Botanical garden, drank, relaxed, and most importantly spent time well needed time with loved ones.   I’ll attach some pictures soon but for now…I must go back to working for my supper.
