A bugs life

Some people think this story is about bugs, some people think its a warning for the future state of mankind….

Someday soon we will be building intelligent robotics…robots to blend into human culture, who can react and tinker for themselves.  Imagine if such a robot ran for an election, or led an army.  What should the laws be for robots?  How quickly will our constitution adapt to encompass another intelligent specie on earth?  Live free or die…does that apply if you’re mostly titanium?  And with all the new prosthetics and implants we are capable of…at what point does a human become reclassified as a robot?
